Q: How long has Freedom Cleaning been in business?
A: Freedom Cleaning was established in January of 2006, registered as a sole proprietorship with the State of Minnesota. We are not a chain or franchise, but rather a local; family owned and operated small business.
Q: Is Freedom Cleaning bonded and insured?
A: Yes. According to Jeff Bakerof American Family Insurance, “Freedom Cleaning Service is insured with American Family Insurance, not a small unknown company. They are insured to protect themselves, but also to protect you as their client. They are also bonded. A bond guarantees the honesty of owners, employees and their actions. You are protected.”
Q: Are your team members "actual" employees and not contractors or a third party?
A: Our team members are "actual" employees. We also do complete background checks and all employees receive training to clean to the standards that our clients expect from us.
Q: Do you offer in-home estimates?
A: Yes, in addition to an online quote, we offer free in-home estimates. These estimates can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for the prospective client and usually only take 1/2 hour of their time. The in-home estimate is the best way to determine how much it will cost to clean your home.
Q: Do you offer a guarantee?
A: Yes, if you are not satisfied with aspects of your home cleaning, and contact us within 12 hours of your cleaning, we will return to correct the issue at no charge.
Q: Will the same people be cleaning my home each time?
A: Yes, we are a team of four. On your initial cleaning all four team members are present so that the whole team learns what makes your home special in terms of cleaning. The size of the cleaning will determine the number of those four team members that clean on a regular basis. But rest assured; if there is an illness on the team or a scheduling conflict that requires one or more of your cleaners to be out on your scheduled cleaning day, every member of our team will know exactly what you expect.
Q: Do you work on weekends?
A: No. Our office hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Cleanings are done starting at 9:00 a.m. and our teams work until all the cleanings are done for the day.
Q: Do I need to be home for you to clean?
A: The majority of our clients are not home on cleaning day, but this is up to the home owner, whatever makes you most comfortable.
Q: Do you supply cleaning products and your own equipment?
A We do supply our own cleaning products. We use green cleaning products made by Restore Natural, simplyneutral and Caldrea as well as microfiber dusting cloths and mops. We also use hepa-filtered backpack and upright vacuums, all of which we bring to each job. There is no need for you to provide anything unless you have a product that you prefer, such as a specific granite cleaner, for example.
Note: We at Freedom Cleaning appreciate input from the client, as a matter of fact, we strongly encourage it. This is especially important after the initial cleaning.
